Homemade bread

 Ingredients (approx. 10 breads)

1) 1 big cup of warm milk 

2) 1 - 1.5 tsp dry yeast 

3) 1 tsp sugar 

4) 2 big watis maida 

5) Salt to taste 

Method

1) Combine milk, yeast & sugar in a bowl. Keep 

the mixture for 5 mins. Yeast activates. Stir the mixture.

2) Now add maida & salt in the bowl. Knead the dough very smooth. You can put oil for kneading. If required, add milk. The dough has to be little thin / saill. Knead the dough. Cover the dough & keep it aside for 1 hr.

3) Now again knead the dough. Make smooth balls out of dough & put it on the greased pan. Brush little milk on each ball. Keep the balls aside for 15 - 20 mins.

4) Preheat oven on convection at 180 degrees for 5 mins. 

5) Bake the bread in the oven at 180 degrees for 30 mins.

Veggie burger

 Ingredients (for 16 - 18 patties)

1) 5 large size boiled potatoes

2) 1 bowl finely chopped carrots

3) 1 bowl finely chopped french beans 

4) Mixture of grated ginger & garlic 

5) 4 Chopped green chillies

6) 2 tsp aamchur powder / chaat masala

7) Butter toasted burger buns 

8) Coriander & turmeric powder

9) Finely chopped coriander

10) Salt & sugar to taste 

11) Mix veg mayo, red chilli sauce & tomato sauce. This is burger sauce / chutney. 

12) Thick slurry of maida & corn flour. 

13) Chopped veggies to decorate the burger. 


Method

1) Steam the veggies & boil the potatoes.

2) Mix all the veggies. Add all the ingredients & mix nicely.

3) Make patties. Coat the patties with slurry of maida - corn flour & bread crumbs.

4) Shallow fry the patties on a frying pan.

5) Toast the bread. Put the chutney, lattice & lettuce. Enjoy the burger.
